When Lights Collide Chapter 34
Estelle took a deep cleansing breath and began.
“Our Inner Child is the innermost part of our heart and soul. Our Inner Child holds all the memories and all the knowledge that we have accumulated over the course of our lives.
Every moment, from before we were born, through our birth process, our childhood, our teenage years, and our adulthood, every memory of every moment has been recorded by our Inner Child.”
She turned to look at Daniel, assessed his level of awareness to her words and then continued,
“All of us, every little bit of us is stored by our Inner Child, deep within our heart and soul. Our Inner Child is not really a child at all, that is just how we are guided to view the little mini versions of ourselves, because as grown ass humans, we need to be able to ‘see’ what is usually left unseen, and we all are willing to see a child, innocent and free.
What we are not willing to attempt to see is the truth about who we really are. We, each and every human being on this great green Earth, is an Earth Angel.
We all come from God and All Divine Source energy, it's in our DNA, it's the spark of life that has started our heart beating, it's the very first breath that we share when we are born.
But, you try to get humans to understand their Divine nature, and they panic.
For centuries, it’s been pounded into our minds that only God is perfect and that for us to be perfect is a futile effort. But what we struggle with is the fact that we, each and every one of us, have been created in the very image of God himself, yet still, we accept that judgment that only God could ever be perfect.”
Daniel turned his head toward Estelle, now paying attention to every word with all the focus and attention that he could muster, he knew that this was all important, he also knew that it was beginning to sound familiar, like somewhere deep inside himself, he already knew all the words that she was going to say. He wondered at himself feeling so safe sitting here and listening to all these words that felt like that came from inside himself, somewhere.
Estelle paused for an instant to take a look at Daniel, and she smiled. She knew that he was beginning to understand, she knew that he had heard these words before.
She knew he was tuning in to his truth.
“So, we are all perfect little Earth Angels running around this world, and we are all perfectly innocent, no matter what the world has done to us, we are all innocent in the eyes of God and All Divine.
That innocence sometimes gets lost to us because of the actions of others. If someone does something that hurts us, we begin to hide our innocence, we begin to live in a way that makes us disliked or unattractive to those who hurt us. Because if they can’t see us, they can’t hurt us.
But what we overlook is the fact that our Inner Child, our Inner Essence of all that we have ever been and all that we will be, gets hidden too.
When we begin to hide who we were born to be, we are burying our Inner Child, our Inner Essence, with all the dirty laundry that we can find to keep it hidden.
Because in our logical minds, we believe that if we hide, we can be safe, when in the reality and spirit of God and All Divine, its when we continue to shine into this world who we truly are, is when we are the most safe, because we are loud and proud, shining our Divine light out into this world, for all to see.
And when all can see us, no one feels brave enough to hurt us, because when there is even the slightest possibility that they can be caught hurting us, those who would hurt us, then become the ones who need to hide themselves from the truth of the world.
This is why uncovering our Inner Child is so important. Our Inner Child holds the keys to the library of us which has been created by God and All Divine, our inner hall of records, if you will.”
Daniel interrupted, “is this like the Bible verse ‘Let the children come to me…?” he asked, trying to make all the words and expressions make sense.
Estelle nodded, “Yes, I believe it's just like that. Even though the Bible was re written by people who were trying to subvert all the power of God and All Divine to have all the power unto themselves, I believe the essence, the truth of all things is still in there, that it's just been buried amongst the dirty laundry of misleads that have been added through the ages.”
Daniel nodded, “So then, if our Inner Child holds the keys to our inner library, we have to connect with that Inner Child to access the key that opens the library of Us so that we can remember and re-learn all the things that we have forgotten or hidden away about ourselves?
She was so excited she nealy clapped, “Yes!! That's exactly it, reconnecting with our Inner Child unlocks all the memories that we need to remember about who we are and who we were born to be.!”
Daniel smiled, happy to see he was on the right track, but then the smile faded as he asked “but what about all the bits and pieces that hurt us or that we are ashamed of…? What if we don’t want to relive those parts?”
Estelle paused, considering the question and feeling into the energy that Daniel was now sinking into,
“I get it,” she said, drawing her lips into thin lines,
“Sometimes a lot happens that we don’t want to go through again. This is where we need to be the grown up.”
“If our Inner Child is holding all of these memories and all of this information, are we really going to keep hiding from the one child who also holds the keys to us knowing who we truly are? This isn’t about feeling shamed or saddened by what has happened before today, this is about us realizing that each and everyone of those moments helped shape us into the person we are today who is wanting to be here and now.” Estelle paused before stating,
“The person who wants to remember who they are. All those steps that you have taken before today, brought you right here, right now. Maybe it wasn’t the lollipop carnival that you hoped for, but Daniel, honey, you are exactly where you have been meant to be.|”
Daniel sat in silence, pondering the words that she had just shared with him. He knew that she was right, he knew that this was where he was meant to be, knew that this was meant to happen just this way.
And he began to giggle…
“If two days ago, you had told me that checking out a club connection would lead me into the deepest realms of my own soul and have me talking to and about Angels, I’d have rented you a room at the local rubber room hotel.” his body shook with the laughter that was building within his belly, and before she knew it, Estelle was smiling as she heard the laughter loud and clear in the air around him.
Cara was almost asleep in her bubble bath, relaxation had calmed her, the heat and the water had soothed her soul, when she heard voices, muffled, yet still audible. She wondered where they were coming from, and why they sounded so close by.
As she sat forward and rinsed her face in the bath water, Cara wondered just how long she had been in the tub. She felt warm, but the water that she had splashed on her face was cool against her skin.
She looked at her hands, “Yup, been in here a while.” she giggled as she noted that the skin upon her hands looked like raisins.
As she pulled the plug from the base of the tub, Cara wondered what Estelle and Daniel were up to.
“Who do you think is sharing all that laughter?” her Guardians teased her.
“Oh, that's what that sound was eh, laughter?” She spoke aloud to her Guardians, and loved that she was in her own space where she could freely be herself.
Since she could no longer hear anything above the sounds of the water pouring down the drain, Cara grabbed the spray nozzle and turned on the water. Once it warmed to a comfortable temperature, she sprayed the remaining bubbles from herself and from the tub, shut the water off and grabbed a fresh towel from the shelf next to the tub.
As she stepped out of the tub, she again heard voices sounding off in the distance, when Cara paused to listen, she realized that there were two voices. When she closed her eyes and focused with her energy, Cara realized that it was both Estelle and Daniel sharing laughter in the backyard of her dear friend’s yard.
Smiling as the sounds warmed her heart, Cara wandered into her own bedroom and began picking out clothes. Then shrugged as she grabbed her favorite sundress.
As she caught her own reflection in the mirror, she spoke to herself, “I know, I know, I usually prefer pants, but this is so much easier than fussing with legs and zippers and stuff.” Cara giggled at herself and shook her head before heading out into the kitchen.
She was hungry.
As she entered the kitchen, rays of warm sunshine filtered in through the large window over the sink. She began opening cupboards in search of something to eat, “and maybe make enough xtra to share with my friends.” She thought to herself.
Cara looked up and noticed a can of chicken noodle soup and instantly remembered the homemade chicken soup that they had prepared together earlier in Estelle’s kitchen.
“Oh! I hope she turned off the stove!” Cara said aloud.
She moved to look out the window and saw Estelle looking straight at her and giggled… “great minds” she stated before heading to the secret side entrance at the edge of the kitchen.
“Keys honey, you need keys” Came Estelle’s voice clear in her mind.
“Oh! Right! Cara giggled as she turned and went back through the house to find her own keys and the keys that she had borrowed from Estelle.
“Ok” Cara sighed to herself as she again headed for the secret side door off the kitchen.
She paused to take another look around and grabbed the bag of bread rolls from the counter before pressing against the panel that opened the side door.
Cara heard the click and stepped out into the warm embrace of the afternoon sun, as she leaned against the secret door to click it in place, she smiled.
“Today is a really good day!” she encouraged herself as she felt, rather than heard the door click shut and the lock slide into place.
As Cara pushed herself from the side of the house and stepped toward the not so secret path through the hedge, she heard a noise come from behind her.
She stopped to look at the same time her Guardians began speaking with her, “Don’t stop, just go, just go, just go.”
Cara tried to redirect herself toward the path through the hedge, but it was too late, she could feel a hand, with something sticky on it come over her mouth at the same time as someone grabbed her arms. Before she could think, she was lifted from the ground and a black hood was placed over her head.
She tried calling out to Estelle and Daniel with her mind speak, but was too scared to even hear her own heartbeat.
All Cara could feel was the echo of her own screams that rippled through her mind.
