When Lights Collide Chapter 30
Estelle continued, “it might be now, but I would be more inclined to call that control energy from the days of old ‘society’.
Once the idea of that society began to grow, so too did the idea of sorting people into classes and areas of importance and significance.”
She paused waiting for any questions, when none came, she went on sharing her knowledge with her friends.
“So, back to the emptiness versus fullness.
Many of us instinctively know that there is more, that the way of this world today is not the way of the world that is meant to be.
We spend much time searching, although we often have no idea what it is that we are looking for because we have no idea what it is that is missing.
We only know that we have this desire within our soul for more or different than what already is.
We crave community, but not like it is today. We crave acceptance, but not as it is today. We crave knowledge, but we don’t know what knowledge we are looking for until we find it. But by the time we find it, it is so far-fetched from the way that the world actually is that we are left feeling like we are losing our minds.
For that too is what the control takers have taught us.
We, after years and years of false teachings from the control takers, have been taught that if we believe anything other than what the control takers tell us, we will be considered crazy.
According to the control takers, once we’ve been considered crazy, we could also be labeled as insane and locked away in a looney bin. We are labeled insane when we get too close to the truth that the status quo does not want the world to see.
We are called crazy for having any beliefs that do not conform with the status quo.
The status quo is controlled by the control takers.
Which has led us to a multitude of people who feel lost, alone, broken and terrified to share their beliefs for fear that they could be locked away.
Being locked away for these people is pure torture. They must be able to walk freely in this world to be able to breath, for their breath is all that they feel they have.
So, they try to conform, and feel like failures when they can’t comply with the status quo.
Not because they don't want to, but because they actually cannot comply with anything that goes against the true nature of who they are.
And because they try so hard and feel like failures, and because it actually hurts them to be so outcast and different, they try to fill that void within, they try to ease that pain. Then they discover things that dull the pains, like drugs, alcohol and distractions.
Because it feels so good to have the pains go away, they continue using the drugs, alcohol and distractions like medicine that actually makes them worse. The worse they feel, the more they utilize their ‘medicines’ until one day their body can’t take it anymore and then, sadly, they die, either from overuse or from unliving themselves in an effort to make the pains stop.
The saddest part may be that if they only had the knowledge, the truth about who they are, why they are here, and about their gifts and powers, they would never feel that pain in the first place.
To live in the full open beauty of one's gifts and powers is the ultimate freedom, where only love and happiness can exist, but until we can be a world free from the false teachings of society, then we shall be a world in pain.”
Estelle reached for her coffee mug, “Oh, I need a refill, anyone else?” She stood and headed for the kitchen, leaving Daniel and Cara in the living room, staring at one another like deer in headlights.
Cara was surprised, true, she’d had these conversations with Estelle many times, she had never quite heard it put all together the way that she spoke it to Daniel.
She was also surprised that Daniel hadn’t yet exploded from information overload, watching him as he sat across from her, he was oddly calm, as though he had already known all that Estelle had shared.
Daniel simply sat on the loveseat, staring into space, letting all the words and explanations settle in around him. When Estelle finally returned to her chair and made herself comfortable that he looked up and seemed to return to the present moment.
“All of this, this pain and hurt because one group of people wanted to be in control ….? To what end..?” he asked and there was no missing the astonishment of his questions.
Estelle sighed as she leaned back in her arm chair, took a sip of her coffee and said,
“It was all about power, money and control.”
Daniel just shook his head, “so, you mean to tell me that this group of people placed more importance on money and power than the well being of each human being?”
Estelle thought for a moment, then replied “not initially, remember, we didn’t always have an actual currency. Most transactions were completed by way of exchange, each person receiving what they needed in exchange for what another needed, and so on.
Communities were formed where maybe one person grew potatoes and maybe another ground their wheat into flour, so, the potatoes became payment for the flour and the flour became payment for the potatoes.
Just like a certain amount of flour would have been paid to the Miller for grinding the wheat for the one who grew it.
Commerce back then was built on share and share alike.
But that share and share alike did not serve those who had nothing to give nor to those who did not want to share in the giving but rather wanted to keep everything for themselves.
In that case, it throws off the balance of giving and receiving.
In some cases this is greed rearing its ugly head, but it is also fear that what one had to give was perceived by the owner as not good enough and therefore refused to share it for fear of being judged as not good enough.”
“So, it's all fear based and related? It was all because of fear that the world had gone to hell and people were suffering?” Daniel interrupted, frustrated at the truth he was seeing.
“It usually always is. Every action that is forced onto others that is not in harmony with what is best for the whole, comes from fear. But that is not to say that fear on its own causes pain and suffering for the whole. Fear can cause pain and suffering for the individual who feels it and refuses to deal with it and heal it, they also and often tend to share that fear in some way with others around them.
Usually in ways that cause fear to strike in the hearts and souls of others.
Fear likes to force control, it makes fear feel powerful.
Fear is necessary, it is our warning system that alerts us to danger. When left unchecked, it can push us into panic that our life will somehow end if it isn’t listened to.
What fear does not seem to notice is that it already had control, it already was doing a great job at keeping us safe.
But when fear struck itself into the heart of someone who felt they had nothing to share and no control in receiving more, they became a person who would take everything they needed to survive instead of sharing what they already had or instead of asking for help.
Daniel could not believe his ears, “all of this because one person, or one group of people were too chicken shit to own their fear.” he shook his head in disbelief, “No wonder the world is such a mess.”
He leaned forward, with his elbows on his knees and looked Estelle in the eyes with a conviction that almost startled her, and then he asked,
“how do we fix this, can we even do that?”
Estelle smiled, “Yes, we can, but first don't you think it's a better idea to learn about yourself, about your gifts and powers?”
Daniel looked confused, but only for a second. He thought back over their conversation and where it all had started, then he chuckled.
“Yea,” he said with a smile, “yea, let's do that.”
